In my point of view, inclusion means treating and respecting each team member or individual fairly and equally. They all have same access to the opportunities, utilities, and resources. You need to treat everyone regardless of gender, race, and disability. Sometimes peoples feel excluded in their workspace or in social media. It can progress towards the low performance and poor job satisfaction. To overcome this situation, Communication is the key.
As working in a team gives valuable experience, we should need to consider everyone should be feel included in the workforce and we can achieve this by communicating with each other. we can use many communication ways like meetings, conferences, chat to get insights about problems.
How can you address inequities within your team?
To overcome inequities in team, first we need to ensure that everyone from the team have technology access, Talk to each other honestly and respect everyone’s thoughts about situation.
The intercultural communication is the communication between personnel from distinct cultural backgrounds. As an International student I am leveraging many cultural differences from my home country. As you can consider language is the main aspect of intercultural communication, but its not the mandatory need. To acknowledge the intercultural communication, you need to recognize the social , standard and customs and respect their values.
Technical communication is a path of communication with the user to understand the goal and requirements. It has many forms namely, user manual, instructions, specifications which explains information to the user in simple and clear language. The main goal of Technical communication is to help user to understand and complete their task and duties as per the conditions. You can achieve technical communication through help documentation, web pages, training people with new and advanced skills sets.
